EMA Lists 5 Turtles as Environmentally Sensitive

EMA lists 5 sea turtles – green, hawksbill, leatherback, loggerhead, and olive ridley, as environmentally sensitive species

Five sea turtles were listed by the Environmental Management Authority (EMA) as Environmentally Sensitive Species. This designation implies that these turtles are in danger of becoming extinct and require a higher level of protection. The turtle nesting season began on March 1st, and the EMA urges the public to exercise caution if they encounter the turtles during this period. More from Kandace Jackson.
