Opposition MP Roodal Moonilal criticizes the government’s views on border protection
Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Border protection continues to be a significant challenge for Trinidad and Tobago. It is widely acknowledged that illegal guns and drugs, which are fueling the rising crime rate in the country, are entering through the nation’s porous borders.
According to Opposition Member of Parliament Roodal Moonilal, the government is not doing enough to effectively secure these borders. His criticism highlights ongoing concerns regarding national security and the impact of illicit trafficking on the escalating crime situation in Trinidad and Tobago.
