Assistant Secretary Sonny Craig Attends Inaugural International Men’s Day Regional Conference In Grenada
St. George’s, Grenada – Assemblyman Sonny Craig, Assistant Secretary in Tobago’s Division of Health, Wellness, and Social Protection (DHWSP), is representing the island at the inaugural International Men’s Day (IMD) Regional Conference 2023 in Grenada.
The conference, which took place from November 15th to 19th, centered on the powerful theme: ‘Men Matter! Embrace, Empower, Elevate for Positive Transformation.’ This significant regional gathering aimed to address critical challenges faced by men, provide essential support systems, and celebrate their diverse contributions to society.
Globally recognized since 1999, International Men’s Day advocates for men’s well-being and positive societal roles. The Grenada conference facilitated vital regional collaboration on these issues and featured an award component, recognizing men across the Caribbean who have made notable positive impacts.
Assemblyman Craig emphasized the fundamental importance of fostering balanced and focused men as a cornerstone for building stronger, more prosperous societies. His participation highlights Tobago’s commitment to men’s health and societal development.
