Stewart, 31 years old, delivered a remarkable throw of 58.02 meters, outshining his competitors Max Rohn of the USA and Yorisan Monterey of Cuba to claim the top spot on the podium. This achievement marks Stewart’s successful defense of his gold medal title, previously won in the same event during the 2019 Parapan American Games.

Throughout his illustrious career, Stewart has consistently excelled in para-athletics, boasting previous successes such as a silver medal in the Discus Throw F44 category at the Paralympics and a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2015 held in Doha.
