Air Quality Remains Safe

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine said daily tests are done to ensure air quality remains safe in areas affected by the oil spill

The air quality in areas most affected by the oil spill in Tobago remains safe. 

This is according to Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, who noted that there is still a high stench present in those areas. Schools in the affected areas, namely Scarborough Secondary and Lambeau Anglican Primary, will remain closed until further notice. The Chief Secretary announced daily air quality tests to maintain safe levels.
