Chief secretary Farley Augustine mourns the passing of Reginald Dumas, describing him as a man of Wisdom and Discernment

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine is mourning the loss of Reginald Dumas, who passed away last night at the age of 88.  

Describing him as a man of wisdom and discernment, Augustine stated that Dumas made an indelible mark on the nation of Trinidad and Tobago, leaving behind a legacy. The Chief Secretary also labeled Dumas a building block in the public service for Tobago who contributed greatly to the island’s development. Augustine praised him for his continued service to Tobago even after retirement from the public service, sitting as a member of the Tobago Council of Elders and providing guidance to the younger generation of leaders. He said Dumas’ influence will continue within the Tobago space and he will remain a source of encouragement and inspiration to others.
