UNC leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar says Rowley is “mamamguying” Tobago.
Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – During a UNC Cottage Meeting on Monday night, political leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar criticized the reintroduction of a Tobago self-government bill in Parliament yesterday.
Persad-Bissessar pointed out that the bill was initially laid in Parliament on October 14, 2020. She also noted that the Prime Minister had previously spoken about the bill during a PNM Special Convention. Her comments suggest that the reintroduction of the bill is a form of political maneuvering.
