Black Rock, Tobago – Villagers of Black Rock are once again gripped by tragedy as a 28-year-old man, Michel Holder, has become a victim of gun violence. Reports state that Holder was ambushed while making his way home late yesterday evening.
According to initial reports, a hooded assailant unleashed a barrage of gunfire before fleeing into the cover of nearby bushes, leaving residents shocked and fearful. Holder is currently fighting for his life at the Scarborough General Hospital. This disturbing incident follows closely on the heels of a recent quadruple murder in Tobago, amplifying concerns over safety and intensifying the community’s anguish regarding rising crime and gun violence in 2024.
