Chief Secretary reports $11.6 million spent on travel for the entire Tobago House of Assembly.
Chief Secretary Farley Augustine reported that $11.6 million has been spent on international travel by the entire Tobago House of Assembly over the past two years. During today’s plenary session, Minority Councillor Petal Daniel-Benoit questioned Augustine regarding the objectives and benefits of the Tobago House of Assembly’s (THA) overseas travels. The inquiry focused on justifying expenditures by THA officials during international trips.
