TADCO and Down Syndrome family network forge allegiance to promote inclusion
TADCO has announced its partnership with the Down Syndrome Family Network (DSFN) of Trinidad and Tobago. The Network has now established a permanent retail presence within TADCO’s showroom in Shaw Park, marking a significant milestone in their collaboration.
Deonecio Salazar, the CEO of TADCO, expressed his delight at DSFN’s acceptance of the invitation, emphasising the importance of such partnerships in promoting social responsibility and inclusion within society.
Highlighting the partnership’s significance, Natisha Charles-Pantin, Secretary for the Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment, and Sustainable Development, emphasised its long-standing nature and potential to encompass other areas of collaboration. Charles-Pantin urged members of the public to support people with Down Syndrome by “rocking their socks” on Thursday, World Down Syndrome Day.
Additionally, she encouraged individuals to visit TADCO’s showroom, where proceeds from the purchase of socks will directly benefit the Down Syndrome Family Network, furthering their mission of support and advocacy.
