From Parade Ground to Patrol: New Police Officers Begin Their Service

September 8, 2025- The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) marked a proud and historic milestone with the Passing Out Parade of Batch 3 and Batch 4 of 2024, held at the Police Academy in St. James. The ceremony, rich in tradition and symbolism, celebrated the core values of Courage, Discipline, and Pride that continue to guide the Service.

Family members, friends, and supporters filled the stands to witness the newly minted constables demonstrate their training and discipline through an impressive display of drills and ceremonial precision. More than just a rite of passage, the parade served as a powerful tribute to the resilience, sacrifice, and dedication required in the journey of law enforcement.

Speakers at the event commended the graduates for their commitment and reminded them of the critical responsibility they now bear in safeguarding communities across Trinidad and Tobago. The occasion concluded with a strong sense of unity and optimism, as these officers prepare to uphold justice and reinforce public trust in the TTPS.
