Jamaican Prime Minister gets briefing on Hurricane Beryl from ODPEM.

Hurricane Beryl is projected to hit Jamaica, prompting Prime Minister Andrew Holness to visit the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) Command Centre for a briefing on the storm’s current impact on the country and to evaluate the effectiveness of Jamaica’s response mechanisms. As per the recent update shared with the Jamaican media, approximately 500 citizens have sought refuge in shelters around 3 PM today.
